Typography Makes Itself at Home

There is nothing more attractive to me than a true obsolete billboard or rusted traffic sign. What makes my heart beating at auctions? A giant aluminum set of letters or a neon”Eat” sign. What do I locate myself bookmarking over and over again? Typography.

I love letters and numbers and especially adore them when they’re authentically old. I do wonder if the trend of placing typography on everything from glasses to artwork prints to pillows to stairs will continue. Can collectors lose the joy of finding a fantastic piece of classic typography? I doubt it. Can typography prints fill Target clearance aisles in the not too distant future? Perhaps.

Join me as we take a look at some of the best typography out in blog land and outside.
You pick. Is it here to stay or gone tomorrow?
